　講座創設以来、福岡大学医学部眼科学講座は眼科医療の実践を通じて患者さまの生活の質（クオリティ・オブ・ライフ）の向上に努め、安心、安全を核とする地域医療の充実に貢献してまいりました。福大眼科は、今後も真摯に患者さまと向き合い、臨床の質を高めていくことで、福岡大学が目指す「あたたかい医療」の実現に注力いたします。

「臨床の福大」の領域を拡大する

　福大眼科の歴史においてこれまで取り組んできた小児眼疾患、網膜疾患、緑内障、眼アレルギーなど幅広い診療に加え、角膜移植やドライアイといった前眼部診療を診療の柱として専門性を追求いたします。大学病院として医療におけるリーダーシップを意識しながら、地域医療と強固なネットワークを形成し、患者さまのヘルスケアマネジメントに貢献します。

Since its establishment, the Department of Ophthalmology at Fukuoka University School of Medicine has been dedicated to improving patients' quality of life through the practice of ophthalmic medicine and contributing to the enhancement of community healthcare centered on safety and peace of mind. Moving forward, we will continue to sincerely engage with our patients and strive to improve the quality of our clinical practice, thereby advancing the realization of the "warm-hearted medicine" that Fukuoka University aspires to provide.

Expanding the Realm of “Clinical Excellence at Fukuoka University”

In addition to the wide-ranging fields we have addressed thus far—such as pediatric eye diseases, retinal disorders, glaucoma, and ocular allergies—we will further pursue expertise in anterior segment care, focusing on corneal transplantation and dry eye treatment. While maintaining our leadership role in medical care as a university hospital, we aim to build a robust network with community healthcare providers and contribute to comprehensive healthcare management for our patients.
